THE SITE

Our collection, begun in 1970, includes bottle caps of beer, water, drinks, juices and all can be contained in a bottle. In 2006 we decided to create a site and, since it would have been a titanic job to photograph all the crowns of the collection (more than 50.000 at that time), we preferred to show, for every country of the world, only the oldest, rarest caps or simply the ones that seem more interesting to us. The site is in continuous updating, and if some nation is missing it doesn't mean that we haven't got crowns from that part of world, but that we have not still had time to photograph them or that they are not significant enough to be exposed.
Every collector would like to show his more valuable pieces, and this is just the goal of this site, that it is turned mainly to other bottle caps fans.
In addition to the images of the crowns, we have also insert stories deriving from our experiences tied to this passion and that we hope can in some way involve the attention of anyone, collector or not, is surfing these pages.

THE FOUNDER

He began to collect crowns and got his brothers involved in his passion. Thanks to his former job, he added to the collection many rare crowns from Egypt, Algeria, Somalia, Nigeria, Iran and other exotic Countries. He provides the site with articles.

THE ARCHIVIST

The collection is set on display in his house. He compares crowns to see if they're missing, but often just a glance is enough for him to realize if a cap it's already in our collection. He provides the site with images.

MASSIMO

THE TRAVELLER

He's the one who has had more chances of attending to meetings, so his name is better known than his brothers' among the other collectors. He is in charge of public relation and is the webmaster as well.
